Clear Round and Unaffiliated Showjumping 2011

The showjumping dates are as follows:

Clear round starts at 10am and last ticket sold about 11.45am.

Price: £3.50 per round or 3 rounds for £9.00


Any height clear round can be jumped at any time during the morning although we do ask that anybody wishing to jump bottom hole arrives earlier rather than later.

Fillers, planks, gate and spreads can be added or removed.  The aim is to build confidence and have fun.

Classes to follow the clear round.  These usually start about 12noon but may be later if there is a large number of clear rounds.

Jumping Clinics in 2011
with Nikki Thomsit BHSII

Come along and improve your jumping skills and build confidence.

All levels are catered for and different abilities will be placed in different lessons to give maximum benefit to riders. 

The clinics will include:

§improving your course jumping
§working on balance and rhythm
§improving horse and rider technique with grid work
§introducing horse and rider to different types of fences
§related distances
§and more advanced work as pupils progress
§if there is demand: flat work towards jumping including pole work

Maximum of 4 in a group, a full lesson will last about 1½ hours. 

Cost: £15 per person

All clinics are on Saturday, dates are as follows:

To qualify for the Championships of Great Britain you need to score 58% or more in a prelim or novice test.

We have the pleasure of Denise O’Reilly holding dressage clinics at Vale Farm on the following dates.  Whether you’re just learning to work your horse in an outline or want to perfect your medium trot, Denise’s extensive experience means she has something for everybody.

RULES & CONDITIONS

1.The Judge’s decision is final. Any decision made by the show secretary or organisers is final.
2.All riders and spectators ride and attend at their own risk. Neither the organiser nor representatives accept any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, vehicles, their contents and accessories or any other person or property whatsoever or howsoever caused.
3.The organisers of the event have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organisers and all officials/stewards.
4.All riders must wear a British Standard approved riding hat properly secured at all times when mounted.
5.Children under 16 to be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times whether riding or spectating.
6.No dogs are allowed on the grounds. No dogs to be shut in hot vehicles without access to fresh air and water.
7.No horse or pony to be tied up to fencing at the show ground. Any sick or lame animal will not be allowed on the show ground. All horses and ponies must have current vaccinations for equine influenza and tetanus, spot checks will take place.
8.Horses and ponies must be four years or older to compete.
9.Horses to be treated fairly at all times. Anybody seen to be treating a horse unfairly e.g. unnecessary use of the whip will be required to leave the grounds.
10.No horse to be left unattended at any time.
11.Competitors may only warm up in the designated warm up area. Please ride or lead your horse in walk to and from the warm up area with regard for pedestrians and other riders.
12.The organisers reserve the right to refuse entry, to cancel or alter shows, times or classes.
13.Entry fees are non-refundable and non-transferable unless agreed by the Show Secretary at the Show Secretary’s sole discretion.
14.The Show Secretary reserves the right to require any person or animal to leave the premises immediately at the Show Secretary’s sole discretion.
